Another shot of the same field

A couple of newly opened pitchers. The
pitchers were primarily green until they were
about ready to open, and then reddened up. You
can see an unopened pitcher toward the bottom of
the picture that is nearly all green.

This is the pitcher that appeared on the
front cover of the March, 2004 CPN. This
is a scanned copy of a picture shot on film,
whereas the front cover photo for CPN was shot
with a digital camera. This particular pitcher
was huge. You can see a smaller 1 foot pitcher
in the lower left, and can kind of determine how
big this pitcher is.
