Propagation By Cuttings
Propagating Nepenthes by stem cuttings has been a popular way to reproduce plants for some time. Basically, a vine is cut from the mother plant and separated into many pieces, and each one is planted so that they will individually root. This basically makes a clone of the mother plant, including the plant's sex.
In order to take stem cuttings, I usually use the following items:
A Good Pair of Gardening
Scissors
Rootone Rooting Harmone
Rubber Bands
Sphagnum Moss
A Disposable Container Of Water
I have the directions and photos for making stem cuttings somewhere on this site. As soon as I locate it, I'll complete this page.
