 This picture shows why the previous plant was probably growing straight up. They are able to grow to full length, then
lay back down over anything else that is growing around them. The two newer pitchers in the center of the photo are just now
beginning to lay flat, whereas the others are already flat on the ground. Note the dead S. psittacina plant to the bottom right
of the photo.
