In this section of the bog, S. rosea was found only in a couple of clumps of a few large, mature plants. Therefore, hybrids
with S. leucophylla were also few, although they were easily found due to their extreme coloration and taller size than
S. rosea. This pitcher was from a plant which only produced 2 or 3 pitchers, and was one of the few hybrids not
to have the pitchers blown over from the tropical storm.
