Here you can see some of the taller exposed pitchers which have been knocked over by the winds of tropical storm Arlene.
For the most part, the grasses and other plants in this section of the bog were tall enough to give additional support to the
taller pitchers in the heavy winds, but in certain, more "cleared" areas, the taller pitchers were targets for the heavy wind and rain.
