Howdy Everyone!

  New Plants Added! 

These new plants are available for sniping or pre-ordering from the "Imports" page. (You have to log-in in order to see the blue Snipe button. )

N. rafflesiana EP 'n' - This is Exotica Plants large-lid rafflesiana.

  New Software Program! 

On the left and side of the screen, you will notice a new button called "Neps Available".  This option will display a list of all Nepenthes which are immediately available for purchasing. These are plants that are on -hand and ready to be shipped today.  Keep in mind that this list will constantly be changing as our stock changes.  For instance, if someone removes a plant from their shopping cart, it can cause a plant that did not display in this list to suddenly show up.  This is because our inventory system reflects the actual quantity of available plants in real time. 

We had a number of customers request this new feature. Our catalog has grown to such an enormous number of plants that it can be difficult to find plants which are available at this moment.

As of this writing, we have about 30 different Nepenthes species available for immediate purchase.  This number is actually low for us, but will rise over the next few weeks, as we release more plants as a result of our plant audit, and plants from our recent imports become ready to be shipped.

This new option will not show plants that are available for pre-ordering.  You can see those plants under the "Imports" option.

  Price Reductions! 

We have been able to slash the price of N1 sized N. dubia to $49.99.   We have cut the price of N1 sized N. jamban to $69.99.

 

   Plant Reflections 

I wanted to take a brief moment to reflect upon a few of the newer plants we have received in over the past couple of months.

N. alba - We were really surprised to see how black most of the pitchers were on these plants. Very nice!

N. spathulata female clone 1 - This is a really nice clone, with pitchers showing some decent coloration even at a small size. The plants are nice and thick even at a smaller size.

N. ampullaria color forms - We have received in several different newly released color forms of N. ampullaria from BE, and these have all been spectacular. 

N. jamban - I know this plant as been out for a while, but I wanted to update everyone on how truly easy a "weed" it is.  It produces nice toilet shaped pitchers even as a small plant, although the upper pitcher are even more remarkable.  There appears to be about 4 or 5 color forms in the clone batch, with deep solid red being the most predominant. The plant grows relatively fast, and will start to produce basals as soon as the stem is 8" or so in length.

 

   New Borneo Exotics Import #79 & #80 Have Been Set Up 

We will begin to bring in BE imports every few weeks.  This will GREATLY reduce the amount of time it takes to process imports when they arrive, and should help us stabilize our stock so that we can keep most plants on hand at all times.  I have started import #79 & #80, which can be seen on the "Imports" option on the left hand side of the screen.

 Plant Audit

We will be completed with the plant audit this coming week.  It appears we will have several hundred plants that will be ready to be released from our stock.

I just talked to Geoff  and we should receive confirmation of the plants on import #77 in a week or two. 

 

  Price Reduction On N. Veitchii (k) Striped Peristome From Exotica Plants!

  New EP Plants

We are in the process of setting up some new EP plants for sniping.  We are unsure of the current prices, and hopefully we can get quantities of the plants and get the prices down. I recent set up  lowii x merrilliana, and a few other N. lowii crosses that are soon to be released.  

We have also added N. maxima "M", a great looking maxima from EP.

   EP Plant Sale

We can offer the following seed grown plants from Exotica Plants. As always, if you order multiple plants, we will send you different looking plants. (As best we can):
If you would like these plants, please set up a snipe for them.  If you want multiple quantities of the same plant, set up multiple snipes, one for each quantity you want. (ie: if you want 3 lowii x spectabilis plants, set up 3 separate snipes for it.)

This will be a one time purchase, as we will be bringing in bulk quantities of plants. Once these plants are sold, the prices will likely increase.
